Our Craft
Rustique is Unconventional Jewellery. It’s imperfect. One that’s made with rustic earthy tones. Unconventional, Mixed Medium, Re-purposeful jewellery one that is re-styled and re-worn.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind, elegant, boho-chic, contemporary. A fusion of crafting metal wire wrapping around natural stones, beads, fabric cords, cork cords.
Our Journey
It began with a jewellery making class that involved copper wires, cords, fabric, beads, stones and metal findings. Pursued it further with an aesthetic to creativity and handcrafts. Sourcing was vital and so travel to any city / country wasn’t complete without exploring the jewellery market for those exclusive natural stones, wood beads or metal components.
Our collection is formulated based on our findings, our search for the unusual.
Our Logo
The Emblem: Open ended, holds no boundaries. Swirls represent wire wrapping, coiling, a twist and turn. A pendant drop, an ornament, a metal.
The Colour Palette: Blue and Pine Wood. The colour blue represents both the sky and the sea and is associated with open spaces, freedom, intuition, imagination, inspiration, trust, loyalty and sensitivity. Pine’s neutral and earthy tone works well with complementary jewel tones
